Wooster Daily Record finishing with a new Muller Martini Bravo-S

Press release from the issuing company

Wooster, Ohio — The Wooster Daily Record, a subsidiary of Dix Communications, is producing saddle-stitched publications with a Bravo-S saddle stitcher from Muller Martini. The new finishing system equips the newspaper to produce a wide variety of products, ranging in format from 18 7/8" X 12 5/8" to 5 3/16" X 4 1/8". The books Bravo-S delivers can be up to 1/2" thick. Bravo-S will also help the Wooster Daily Record meet its deadlines. The integrated system produces at the rate of 12,000 cycles per hour and features a central digitally driven control station which significantly cuts set-up and changeover time. Meanwhile, Bravo-S’s sequential start-up and run-out capabilities reduce waste and further speed the production process.
