Heidelberg Continues NexPress 2100 Roadshow in 2003

Press release from the issuing company

KENNESAW, GA. - Jan. 16, 2003 - Heidelberg is traveling across the country demonstrating its digital color press, the NexPress 2100. This digital road show – scheduled to stop next in Sacramento, Calif., on Feb. 27 - aims to promote new business for local NexPress customers, focusing primarily on personalized marketing through variable data and the market opportunity surrounding digital printing. "Heidelberg strives to support our customers in their success,” said Vahaaj Khan, director of digital product management, Heidelberg USA. “With Heidelberg, our customers receive a partner for life.” The seminars will feature Elyse Mitchell from LB Works, a Leo Burnett company, and Sean Cummins, proprietor of Creative Digital Color in Chicago. Seminar topics include successful selling of variable data printing and the emerging use of 1-to-1 marketing and the increased impact it has on marketing campaigns. Mitchell will discuss whether advertising agencies are recommending variable data printing while Cummins will talk about his success with the NexPress 2100. Heidelberg is pleased to announce that it has partnered with one of the top software vendor for variable data printing, Think 121, which will also participate in the seminars. "Variable data printing can be intimidating, until you realize how powerful and effective it can be,” said Elyse Mitchell, senior account executive, LB Works. “The key word in variable data printing is ‘data.’ The more powerful the data, the more powerful your communication can be.” Heidelberg offers the seminars as a tool for educating customers about variable data printing at no cost. The road show offers two sessions -- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. "As variable data printing is gaining popularity,” Khan said, “we would like to use the NexPress road shows to bring the ad agencies, the marketing departments and the printer all in one room to make the variable data printing programs a success.” Future show locations include Miami, Boston, Cleveland and Chicago.
