Cingular Wireless Selects Printcafe for e-Procurement Solution

Press release from the issuing company

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 13 -- Printcafe Software, Inc., the operating system for print(TM), today announced that Cingular Wireless has selected Printcafe's EnterpriseSite(TM) solution for managing its enterprise-wide print procurement. The second largest wireless carrier in the U.S., Cingular Wireless joins other Printcafe customers, such as AOL Time Warner, Merrill Lynch and General Motors, in using Printcafe's print procurement technologies. By automating the print procurement process, Cingular will gain greater control over the procurement of printed materials across their entire enterprise, thereby enabling cost savings and productivity improvements. Procurement professionals obtain greater visibility into, and control over, their print procurement expenditures. Print buyers and project managers benefit from automated tools to generate complex project specifications, request and approve quotations, select vendors, centrally manage print jobs and collaborate with suppliers online. "Cingular Wireless clearly understands the importance of enterprise-wide print spend management and is well-positioned to gain significant benefits and competitive edge from its EnterpriseSite print e-procurement solution. We are fully committed to a successful, wide-scale deployment at Cingular to help them realize significant and measurable savings very quickly," said Marc Olin, Printcafe's President and CEO.
