Tim Young to Head Southwest Operations for Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc.

Press release from the issuing company

VALHALLA, N.Y., Jan. 6, 2003 – Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. is proud to announce that Tim Young has been appointed as the company’s new regional director for the Southwest region. Young was the president of Nelson-Keystone until Enovation acquired that company last week. Young is responsible for Enovation branches in San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas and will report to John Solwold, Enovation’s West Region Vice President. "I am very excited about becoming part of this visionary company," commented Young. "Having the vast resources of a nationwide organization and the outstanding products and services that it makes available is an incredible benefit to customers in our marketplace." "Tim’s 17 years in our industry give him a wealth of knowledge plus the sales and operational management experience necessary to help us transition our organization into what it must be to meet the requirements of both our strategic manufacturer partners and valuable customers," said Solwold. Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. was formed in 2001 with Fujifilm’s acquisition of three leading dealers in the channel – PrimeSource Corporation, Heartland Imaging and Graphic Systems, Inc. Since then Enovation has acquired Taylor Impression Inc., with five branches in Tennessee and Arkansas, and Image Control Systems Inc., with its four branch locations in the Pacific Northwest including offices in Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Anchorage, and Nelson-Keystone with branches in Fullerton, Calif., San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix. In September of 2002, Enovation also acquired certain assets of Arkin-Medo, Inc. and formed Arkin-Graphics Inc., establishing a major presence for Enovation in the New York metro area. "The very nature of our business has changed dramatically in the past decade," explained Dan Maffeo, Enovation’s Executive Vice President. "The impact of this brought about the need for a company with the vision and resources to adapt to the changes at the manufacturer, dealer and customer levels. Enovation’s vision includes closer ties to technology, a superior breadth of service and support, stable relationships, best-in-class products and, above all, the people who have the experience and perseverance needed to become what our business needs now and in the future. Tim Young’s leadership will only help strengthen Enovation’s focus and direction."
