American Die Technology Announces Plans for Graphics of the Americas

Press release from the issuing company

January 8, 2003 -- (American Die Technology) -- Cassette Style Drop-In Hotstamp Unit -- The newest development in the hotstamp arena has been the Cassette Style Drop-in Hotstamp Unit, by American Die Technology, that will answer concerns of label printers. This type of Unit will utilize an existing die station in any flexographic printing press when a job requires a hotstamped image. This unit can also be installed and removed from the press in minutes to allow the operator to use the die station for other applications when the unit is not required. The patented Equalizer, rapid heat up, air cool down system, registration dial, a bilingual control panel and touch screen controls are just some of the bells and whistles this new style of unit offers. User friendly is what comes to mind when running a unit that meets and exceeds all expectations. This unit is a cost effective way for the label printer to enter into the high-end label market. “One Stop Shops” is a phrase that is becoming more and more popular in the consumer label industry. Many label printers have been faced with hard times over the last year and whatever they can do to become more efficient and save money is becoming very apparent. One way has been to find “One Stop Shops” for rotary cutting dies, hotsatmp dies and hotstamp units. American Die Technology is a “One stop shop” in this industry, since we are the only manufacturer to produce the patented Equalizer, rotary cutting dies, hotstamp dies, hotstamp units and other products under one roof. --- The Platinum Rotary Cutting Die *Many advances have been made to the rotary cutting die over the years, but the main advancement has been the ability to die cut the new challenging materials (paper/films) in the marketplace. The Platinum Die has been specifically designed to cut these new materials and through thick inks (water base, UV, screen, etc), giving the label printer the desired cut and life expectancy they demand and expect from a rotary cutting die. The new Platinum die is a special processed tool steel die that is chrome plated for additional durability. American Die Technology has spent a great deal of time researching steel and chrome configurations to produce this cost effective die to cut polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene and all paper applications. One of the main reasons has been, “the strive to drive down the cost”. American Die Technology is in business to build long lasting relationships with our customers and the new Platinum die is just another way of showing our commitment to them and the industry.
