"Value Added by Print" is a 24-page tour of leading newspapers around the world, with focus on how they utilize printing as a medium to deliver a unique range of benefits to their readers and advertisers. Published by MAN Roland and offered free to graphic arts professionals, the booklet follows the adventures of Andreas Weber, an internationally renowned journalist and author, as he circles the globe in just twelve days to interview nine of the world’s leading newspaper publishers. Those providing their thoughts on the future potential and power of print include: John Gottschalk of the Omaha World Herald; Luis Frias of the Media Group in Brazil; Albert Essliinger-Kiefer of J. Esslinger in Pfrozheim, Germany; Jan Maiherbe of Media24 in Capetown; Kitti Yimiamai of the Thairath Daily in Bangkok; and Mark Scott of the Fairfax Media Group in Sidney. The report also provides "The Seven Golden Rules" of keeping print top-of-mind as the leading media option. Free copies of the book can be downloaded as a PDF at www.manroland.com. Printed versions of the publication can also be requested.
