A.B.Dick: 19 Event Schedule To Include New Workflow Workshop Format

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, IL - Having introduced 10 new products to the market in the last two years with plans for more in the coming months, A.B.Dick Company will bring these products and other value-added services to the field in 2003 when they embark on a newly created Open House and Workflow Workshop schedule. Nineteen events are tentatively scheduled for this coast-to-coast program. The Open House and Workflow Workshop schedule will continue to supplement A.B.Dick’s support and exposure at national trade shows in 2003. They plan to attend Graphics of the Americas in Miami Beach, January 24-26, the Gutenberg Festival in Long Beach, May 1-3, and Graph Expo in Chicago, September 28-October 1. “We believe the Open House and Workflow Workshops will bring greater value to our customers,” said Scott MacKenzie, Vice President of Marketing. “Our customers have always provided us with tremendous feedback and that’s the reason for this concept. People will have more time to see the various demonstrations and engage in at-length discussions with our sales and technical professionals. DPM products and automated presses such as our new four-color 4995A-ICS offset press will be at these open houses.” The preliminary schedule has the Open House format kicking off in Boston on February 11-12. Other cities include Dallas (March 4-5), Phoenix (April 8-9), Denver (May 20-21), Minneapolis (June 17-18), Indianapolis (July 15-16) and Princeton, New Jersey (Nov. 11-12). A first day, five hour (1-6 p.m.) program will be followed the next day by a four hour (8-Noon) morning session. All guests will be encouraged to register for a session via the company’s web site (www.abdick.com). The Workflow Workshops will feature A.B.Dick’s automated 9995A-ICS press as part of a detailed presentation. The press will work in tandem with a DPM2508 direct-to-plate device, which will be equipped with a ScanMaster digital scanning solution. In-depth infor-mation, combined with real-time demonstrations and analysis, will be provided at three, two-hour sessions. A third-day is planned for a DPM User Group Workshop from 9-12 noon. The tentative Workflow Workshop schedule begins in San Diego, Jan. 13-15. Other cities: Seattle (February 3-5), Salt Lake City (March 3-5), Houston (March 31-April 2), Des Moines (May 7-9), Kansas City (June 2-4), Detroit (June 16-18), Harrisburg (August 4-6), Hartford (September 8-10), Baltimore (October 6-8), Tampa (November 3-5) and New Orleans (December 8-10). MacKenzie said dates and cities are subject to change. He advised all potential visitors to consult their local A.B.Dick representative or the A.B.Dick web site.
