MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 12 -- Delphax Technologies Inc. today announced that the company has completed an agreement with DP Direct Ltd., a direct mail and fulfillment service provider, to establish the first major reference site for the Delphax high-speed CR Series digital press in the United Kingdom. Under the agreement, DP Direct purchased a direct mail printing solution featuring the Delphax CR900P continuous-feed digital press. Terms were not disclosed. "The CR900P solution from Delphax will produce at up to five times the speed of our existing equipment at an economical cost to our customers," said Andrew Smith, Managing Director of DP Direct. "We see the CR900P digital press as a means to enter markets which DP Direct has previously avoided, and we look forward to a long and mutually successful association with Delphax." Delphax introduced the CR Series this past April and announced the first U.S. sale in June.
