La Crosse Litho Supply to Present G7 Seminar

Press release from the issuing company

Indianapolis, IN --  La Crosse Litho Supply, the Midwest's premier graphic arts distributor, will present a complimentary seminar on color management and implementing G7 for the pressroom.  The seminar, entitled Taking Control of Color Management, will be offered at both 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on April 7th.  This presentation will take place in Indianapolis in conjunction with Presstek's Digital Offset Solutions Open House, held in Lucas Oil Stadium's meeting rooms 5, 6 & 7.

The seminar will discuss G7 standards, how color management tools and expertise can be applied to achieve today's new standards, and what benefits can be derived from implementing G7.  In general, G7 allows printers to reduce their makeready costs while also saving time, money and materials.

G7 is a revolutionary process based on principles of digital imaging, spectrophotometry, and computer-to-plate (CTP) technologies.  The G7 process control methodology was developed by IDEAlliance to prescribe how to use the most modern technology, techniques, process controls and standards to reliably produce high-end commercial printing with a close visual appearance from proof to press and from press to press.

La Crosse Litho Supply is known for its color management expertise and is fully versed in G7 color standards.  Led by Director of Technology Matt Fehn, the La Crosse Litho Supply team of five certified G7 Experts utilizes a unique set of tools to qualify clients as a Master Printer and/or Proofing Professional.  G7 services are offered as a part of La Crosse Litho Supply's ColorLink Solutions, a comprehensive solution to color management based on G7 standards, tailored to a client's specific requirements.

To register for this complimentary event, contact La Crosse Litho Supply at 800.658.9022 or [email protected] by Monday, April 6th.  All Taking Control of Color Management attendees will receive a complimentary color evaluation by La Crosse Litho Supply's G7 Experts (restrictions apply).
