Agfa-Gevaert CFO Andre Bergen to Become Chairman of KBC Bank

Mortsel, 26 november 2002 - Agfa-Gevaert announces that Andre Bergen, Chief Financial and Administration Officer, will leave the company after being approached to assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Management at KBC Bank. Andre Bergen will continue to fulfil all his responsibilities at Agfa-Gevaert until a successor is appointed. The date of his departure will be fixed later, but will take place not later than mid 2003. Agfa-Gevaert wants to thank Andre Bergen already today for his valuable contribution to the company and wishes him every success in his further career.
