Large Format Presents New Opportunities at Graphics of the Americas 2003

Press release from the issuing company

MIAMI, FLORIDA, November 21, 2002 – The emerging technologies of large format inkjet printing are quickly becoming a key feature of Graphics of the Americas 2003 (GOA 2003) as the importance of this market sector grows. Citing studies that point to $11.3 billion dollar market by 2005, Chris Price, VP and General Manager for GOA, pointed out that only 15% of that business is now in the hands of commercial printers, leaving enormous room for growth. "Seeing and experiencing the latest equipment is vital to success in this multi-billion dollar niche," said Price. "That is why we strive to ensure that all the leading manufacturers and distributors of large format inkjet equipment are among our more than 500 exhibitors." Exhibitors at the 28th annual Graphics of the Americas featuring large format inkjet printing include Oce Digital Graphics, Hewlett Packard - HP , MacDermid ColorSpan, Vutek and Mardel Imaging while companies like ScitexVision will be introducing "super wide format’ printers. These companies and others will showcase all the equipment a printer needs to compete effectively in this lucrative and rapidly expanding market sector. In all, over 400 companies will be represented at GOA 2003. The entire spectrum of printing, converting and design will be covered. With nearly 500,000 square feet of space, GOA 2003 will be the graphic arts industry’s premier exhibition of 2003. Graphics of the Americas is produced annually by the Printing Association of Florida, Inc., an industry trade association.
