The SkinnyPDF Workflow enabled system includes SkinnyEPS, SkinnyPDF, trapping and imposition software from Ultimate Technographics Inc. Output services of the system include halftone inkjet digital proofing, direct to plate processing as well as film and digital print production systems that process SkinnyPDFs files many times faster than normal PDFs. Skinny will also provide to prospective clients the technology to deliver print ready electronic documents in the form of SkinnyPDF files into Printlux.com on-line print fulfillment services. There are a number of synergies between the two companies. Skinny was also seeking a commercial facility that would allow it to process large volumes of fat electronic documents into SkinnyPDF files for prospective clients. Skinny is finding many opportunities to process large volumes of application native files for clients. The company is pursuing opportunities where it’s the shear volume of existing application specific documents and digitized material that is to be processed into PDF format that could offer a new revenue source for Skinny. The company believes that there is an opportunity to custom design PDF processing systems that can process large volumes of application native and digitized document files into SkinnyPDF documents quickly. Skinny also needed a commercial print facility to provide the print fulfillment opportunities that the Company is encountering as it goes through it marketing efforts.
