PGSF Elects New Officer and Board Members; Larry Warter Stays at Helm

Pittsburgh, Pa., November 21, 2002 — Completing a usual two-year term as Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) chairman, Larry Warter, director of new business development for Fuji Photo Film USA in Hanover Park, Illinois, accepted the opportunity to extent his term for another year. The announcement was made at the PGSF annual meeting on November 15 in New Orleans, Louisiana. As such, the Executive Committee for the PGSF Board of Directors will remain the same with the exception of Jeff White, director of sales operations of Printcafe Software, Inc. in Naperville, Illinois, who becomes the newly elected secretary of the board. Skip Sayers, retired president/chief executive officer of Quebecor-Sayers Printing Company in St. Louis, Missouri, will remain on as vice-chair. Ron Mihills, managing director of the Research & Engineering Council in White Stone, Virginia, will remain on as treasurer. In addition to being the newly elected secretary of the board, White is also one of four new members of the PGSF board expected to hold positions for two years. Other new members of the 36-person PGSF board are: * George Diamantis, president of National Print Group in Chattanooga, Tennessee * Susan Kelly, president of Raine Consulting in Glen Ellyn, Illinois * Doug Yeager, vice president manufacturing of Alcom Printing Group in Harleysville, Pennsylvania Headquartered near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and affiliated with the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation, PGSF is a 46-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the graphic communications industry by providing scholarship assistance.
