Dellas Graphics Gains Competitive Advantage with Printcafe PSI

Press release from the issuing company

PITTSBURGH, PA (December 10, 2002) - Printcafe Software, Inc., the operating system for print, today announced that Dellas Graphics, a leading commercial printer and mailer in Syracuse, New York, has recently installed Printcafe's PSI print management system and is already improving its ability to track job status and productivity. "We knew we needed a fully integrated system to better manage our business and gather real-time feedback from the shop floor to meet production goals, track job status and support our customers," said Arthur Novick, vice president of manufacturing for Dellas Graphics. "We saw the value Printcafe PSI brought to the analytical side of the business, helping us to track productivities and refine our standards." "In addition to providing an integrated system, Printcafe seemed to be the company that would continue to thrive in this age of electronic information, and offer us the software updates we need in order to stay competitive as the graphic arts industry changes," said Novick. Printcafe's print management systems, including PSI, Logic and Hagen, serve as the foundation of a printer's business information system. Printcafe continues to develop add-on modules to enhance these systems, such as Printcafe PrintFlow; dynamic scheduling, Printcafe Auto-Count shop floor data collection and Printcafe PrinterSite Internal, a sales force mobilization tool. "PSI helps printers to get a better handle on plant productivity, by providing concrete data and eliminating guesswork," said Warren Tanabe, Printcafe PSI product manager. "PSI helps Dellas Graphics operate more efficiently resulting in improved levels of customer service."
