IGI Seminar looks at Establishing True Cost

Pewaukee, Wisconsin -- The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI)—an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industry—has announced a training course focused on Best Practices for Establishing True Costs. The course will be held on May 13, 2009, and will be conducted by Craig Press, the president of Profectus, a national consultancy which helps printing organizations implement best business practices.  The seminar, directed at anyone wanting to improve estimating, pricing and costing skills, will cover budgeted hourly rates, production standards, estimating, order entry, job costing, activity based costing, cost capture, true cost reports, and reducing costs.   See www.igi.org/events/IGI_Craig_True_Cost_F.pdf for course details.
