TripleArc Awarded Contract to Provide Print eProcurement by CDS

November 20, 2002 -- TripleArc Group, a leading UK provider of advanced online procurement and workflow solutions, has been awarded a contract to supply its iPMS2Print Internet Print Management System to specialist UK Public Sector media and print management services company, Corporate Document Services (CDS), part of The Baird Group. CDS is purchasing a licence for iPMS2Print, enabling it to service their clients effectively whilst also managing its suppliers; TripleArc will be hosting and supporting the system. CDS joins other iPMS2Print customers including Bezier, The Color Company and Iceberg Marketing. IPMS2print combines two of TripleArc’s solutions: iPMS and edit2print. Internet Print Management System (iPMS) is an online end-to-end workflow management tool for printed collateral. IPMS has multiple applications, within large print companies, print management groups and corporate production departments. Users can process requests for quotations, transmit artwork files, track production and despatch all within the framework of a project team. The system enables real time monitoring of print expenditure across large organisations leading to economies of scale and greater control. Edit2print is a template-based system for the e-procurement of printed products allowing those with little or no design background to select, edit, proof and send a range of materials to print – online. From packaging, sales collateral, promotional literature to POS and direct mail – images and text within any printed materials can be changed online, within pre-defined parameters. IPMS2print offers an integrated print procurement and management solution – harnessing advanced and robust database management systems with leading-edge automated graphics processing. IPMS2print is offered via an Application Service Provider (ASP) model which means print suppliers, print buyers, agencies and administrators can gain access to the system via the Internet. Corporate Document Services (CDS) is a specialist in media and print management services for the UK public sector, including both local and central government. CDS clients include the DWP – Department of Work and Pensions, formally known as Social Security, the London Borough of Sutton, as well as Essex, Buckinghamshire and Surrey County Councils. Jason Cromack will now assume the role of Chief Executive Officer to further drive the development of customer - focused procurement solutions. Former Chief Executive Conor O’Brien, who spearheaded the flotation of TripleArc December 2001 and directed a very successful first year for the company will now resume his business and technical development role as the TripleArc Group’s new Technical Director.
