Press release from the issuing company

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA — As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of graphic communications professionals, Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) sponsored 10 students from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) at Graph Expo 2002. The graduate and undergraduate students at Graph Expo toured KPG’s exhibit and talked with KPG professionals about the Company’s portfolio of solutions for the graphic arts, including digital and conventional plates, proofing and color technologies and film. "As our industry continues to undergo a significant transition marked by emerging digital technologies, it is more important than ever that we encourage young adults to pursue a career in graphic arts communications," said Steve Fullerton, KPG’s Trade Relations Manager. "KPG is committed to serving as a resource to help enhance the knowledge, education and training of graphic communications professionals." "Graph Expo provides an excellent opportunity for our students to see first-hand the latest products and services, as well as meet with prospective employers," said Frank Romano, Fawcett Professor, School of Print Media, Rochester Institute of Technology. "We appreciate KPG’s support of RIT’s programs for educating the graphic communications leaders of the future." KPG annually provides funding to a number of colleges and universities that emphasize graphic arts communications in undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
