Envelope Manufacturers Association Honors Richard Kranz with Award

11/12/02 - ALEXANDRIA, VA - The Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA) presented Richard Kranz of Tension Envelope Corp. with its prestigious Monument Award during the 2002 Fall Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Kranz, a native of Germany, has been employed by Tension Envelope Corp. since 1954. A true pioneer, he has devoted countless hours of his time to the envelope industry. In addition to developing training programs, he has served as an informal envelope consultant and mentor to those at Tension Envelope Corp. and elsewhere in the industry. Mr. Kranz also served as EMA's Technical Liaison to FEPE (European Envelope Manufacturers Association). EMA's Monument Award was created in 1995 to honor an individual who has distinguished themselves in both public service and service to the envelope manufacturing industry. The award is presented annually at EMA's Fall Meeting.
