Press release from the issuing company

DAYTON, Ohio--Nov. 6, 2002--Standard Register's TotalScripts(TM), a duplex-printable prescription label solution, has been added to the Optra T series of printers, Duplex category on a leading manufacturer's Converter List. The pharmacy solution has proven to have consistent and reliable performance on laser printers when duplex printing. TotalScripts(TM) passed stringent testing including label feed, toner adhesion, adhesive contamination, low and high humidity. Standard Register's TotalScripts(TM) combines prescription labels, paper for patient advisory information, and a printable liner for pharmacy advertising and marketing -- all on one sheet. This unique duplex printing approach allows the entire sheet to be utilized leaving no waste. It saves time, helps to eliminate prescription errors, reduces costs and gives the pharmacy added control and flexibility in its promotion and communication efforts. Its customizable construction integrates 100 percent into current health promotion and marketing software applications used by pharmacies. "This automated pharmacy solution clearly leverages our unique company strengths and fits our long term strategy to grow our position in expanding market segments. Our deep process experience, continued investment in research and innovation in label solutions, and our ability to build relationships with best-in-class technology platforms has allowed us to improve printing throughput over current solutions," said Jeffrey Strasser, vice president of strategic marketing for Standard Register Label Solutions. "It is rewarding to be added to the Converter List, reflecting the high quality of our solution and the compatibility with market-leading systems."
