The BOWE SYSTEC Marathon Series Inserting System is the premier inserting solution for performance, document security, integrity, flexibility, and value. The Marathon combines a 12,000 envelope per hour speed with high filling thickness, flexibility, ease of operation and secure package control to ensure maximum production and processing flexibility. Designed to meet the requirements of high volume, high speed inserting environments, the new Folding Feeder enclosure module utilizes leading edge material handling techniques to ensure reliable feeding at high speeds. The integrated folding unit provides application flexibility for intelligent processing of cut sheet documents as a primary or secondary input channel. In addition, a new CD Feeder enclosure module is integrated into the system and demonstrated for the first time in the U.S. Another example of how the Marathon platform is designed for growth in the future and can be further enhanced and expanded to meet tomorrow’s industry requirements. Motor driven adjustment of the collating track combined with conveniently located controls provide easy set-up of the transport track and envelope and enclosure feeders. The safety covers over the transport and inserting sections provide soundproofing and user safety. If opened, the system automatically stops.
