Printable Announces Success in U.S. and U.K. Markets
Press release from the issuing company
New Printable switchover clients are being added at a rate of more than one every business day.
SOLANA BEACH, CA, October 1, 2002 – Coleman Kane, president and chief executive officer of Printable Technologies, Inc., today reported that signings of former printChannel customers have exceeded all expectations. New Printable switchover clients are being added at a rate of more than one every business day since the start of signings two weeks ago in the wake of printChannel's announced wind-down of its operations.
"We're very excited about the enthusiastic response we've received from the first group of printChannel subscribers who have signed with us in the past two weeks," Mr. Kane stated. "One reason for their enthusiasm is their pleasant surprise at the Printable pricing model which they tell us is far more attractive than the one they had been working with. They are also delighted with just how easy the switchover to our system really is, and the depth of new Printable features they can now access."
"We have made it clear that we're committed to their success," he continued. "This is our one and only business, our exclusive focus. All of Printable's resources are directed toward constantly advancing our applications and our client service."
Since its reorganization in March 2001, Printable has added over 200 clients in North America. Every month this year has been a record month for the company in both revenue and new client acquisitions.
Mr. Kane pointed out that Printable would be announcing the release of its latest version, Printable 5.5, representing 30 new product enhancements at Graph Expo 2002, as well as a number of major new partnerships that the company will be rolling out during October. Printable currently offers the most advanced and widely used system in the industry.
Turning to Printable's recently announced expansion of operations into Europe, Mr. Kane remarked, "We have a seasoned staff in the U.K., fully capable of providing uninterrupted service to our newest clients there. In addition, we believe that Printable's international expansion program, now well under way, will work extremely well with our new Hewlett-Packard partnership and perfectly fit into our mutual objective to grow business throughout Europe."
printChannel users in the U.S., the U.K. and continental Europe can obtain information about switching to Printable systems at the company's website (printable.com) or by calling Joe Manos, vice president of sales, in the U.S. at (858) 847-6647, and in the UK at +01 00 858 8476647.
