Valhalla, NY -- FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. and Xerox Corporation have aligned their digital imaging and printing expertise to offer the Xerox 700 Digital Color Press for professional and commercial photo labs, combining their digital imaging and digital printing expertise to take advantage of the growing market for specialty photo products.  Items that can be printed include photo books, photo calendars, greeting cards, as well as, trading cards, fun packs and a host of other specialty printed photo products.

“The Xerox printers produce photo quality output that can meet the high standards of our pro and commercial lab customers,” said Thomas Curley, director of marketing, Imaging Division, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. “With this solution, Fujifilm is helping our customers increase revenue and expand their product offering.”

The Xerox 700 Digital Color Press can print a wide range of photo book sizes adding to the line-up of products commercial and professional photo labs can offer their customers.  Fujifilm and Xerox have collaborated to create custom sized photo papers for the Xerox 700 to support the fulfillment of specialty photo products.

The Xerox 700 Digital Color Press features include:
- Speeds up to 70 ppm in color and monochrome
- Impressive image quality at 2400 x 2400
- Maximum sheet size of 13” x 19.2”
- Ability to print on a wide range of substrates, up to 110 lb cover/300 g/m2

The Xerox 700 Digital Color Press uses a low-melt emulsion aggregation (EA) toner created by Xerox and FujiXerox, producing full color prints at high speeds.  The toner’s micro particles also ensure high quality halftones, smooth transitions, and rich shadow detail. This environmentally-friendly toner requires less energy to manufacture and print, minimizing the impact on the environment.
