QTI Asia-Pacific Sells 50th Register Guidance System in China

Adding to the more than 2000 systems sold worldwide Singapore – QTI Asia-Pacific has sold its 50th Register Guidance System in the People’s Republic of China, adding to the more than 2000 systems sold worldwide--evidence that printers everywhere appreciate the dependability and precision of QTI register control products. The automatic color-to-color register control equipment was installed in September on the first of two Heidelberg M600 presses at the new R.R. Donnelley printing plant in Shanghai. Register control systems are designed to automatically detect and correct errors in color registration during the printing process. QTI’s register guidance systems have been a key component of QTI Asia-Pacific’s success. Both commercial and newspaper printers know they are accurate, reliable, and easy to use. "The continuing demand for QTI’s register guidance products is a clear indication that they are trusted and respected by printers around the world," says David Mitchell, QTI’s manager in Singapore. China is QTI Asia-Pacific’s largest single market, however QTI has more than 200 customers in the region. Customers are located in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The office has recently expanded its service support in China by adding two Shanghai-based service engineers, bringing to seven the total number of service personnel in the Asian market.
