Adding to the more than 2000 systems sold worldwide Singapore – QTI Asia-Pacific has sold its 50th Register Guidance System in the People’s Republic of China, adding to the more than 2000 systems sold worldwide--evidence that printers everywhere appreciate the dependability and precision of QTI register control products. The automatic color-to-color register control equipment was installed in September on the first of two Heidelberg M600 presses at the new R.R. Donnelley printing plant in Shanghai. Register control systems are designed to automatically detect and correct errors in color registration during the printing process. QTI’s register guidance systems have been a key component of QTI Asia-Pacific’s success. Both commercial and newspaper printers know they are accurate, reliable, and easy to use. The office has recently expanded its service support in China by adding two Shanghai-based service engineers, bringing to seven the total number of service personnel in the Asian market.
