Heidelberg Presents Free Educational Seminars at Graph EXPO 2002

Print Media Academy Hosts Industry Experts to Share Ideas and Innovations KENNESAW, Ga., Sept. 24, 2002 – Heidelberg’s Print Media Academy will host 15 free industry seminars led by highly respected industry leaders at the Graph EXPO show, Oct. 6-9 in Chicago. The seminars will provide practical advice and information that printers can immediately use to help bolster their business operations. Topics range from business development and profitability strategies to step-by-step workshops on processes such as creating PDF workflow files. "We think it’s important to bring in experts that truly understand our customers’ business and present information that can lead to tangible benefits to their business profitability and productivity," said Larry Kroll, vice president of the Heidelberg North American Print Media Academy. "This year’s workshops will be conducted by an impressive group of educators, association leaders and print industry business operators." Speakers include leaders from the National Association for Printing Leadership, Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF), Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Ferris State University among other industry educators and professionals. "Education has been a cornerstone of Heidelberg’s industry outreach for decades," Kroll continued. "These interactive workshops provide our customers and colleagues the opportunity to attend focused sessions where all content is relevant and useful. The free hour-long workshops will be held daily beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Heidelberg Print Media Academy Pavilion in booth #1000.
