As part of Van Son’s ongoing commitment to the fulfillment of high customer service standards, Butler and Thoele will support Van Son’s dealer sales representatives in providing a faster response time to customer needs and requirements. Bringing a wealth of experience in the printing industry, Butler and Thoele will focus on users of Van Son’s Quickson Series inks in the mid-size to large commercial market. They will also give additional support to Van Son sales and technical representatives by providing regional coverage to the Van Son customer community as a whole. Butler will support the Southeast, while Thoele will cover the New England states. Most recently, Robert Butler worked as a sales representative for Heidelberg. Prior to that, he held positions as dealer sales representative for several companies in the graphic arts industry. Butler's knowledge of the printing process in general, and Van Son's product line in particular, will serve him well in his new role as Offset Specialist. As a former printing equipment dealer himself, Butler lends a unique perspective to the position, giving him the ability to relate to Van Son's dealers and end users firsthand. James Thoele's firm roots in the New England printing market provide him with excellent knowledge of his territory. Prior to joining Van Son, Thoele worked as a technical troubleshooter for Vermillion (formerly Souhegan Color, Inc.) in Nashua, New Hampshire. Thoele’s experience troubleshooting behind the printing press along with his daily interaction with customers make him a well-rounded Van Son delegate, offering the interpersonal and technical knowledge necessary to successfully fulfill the duties of Offset Specialist. Both Butler and Thoele will report directly to John Sammis.
