Time Inc., the world's leading magazine company, has recently adopted a PDF-based internal workflow and is now working with digital ads in the PDF/X-1a:2001 format. The process can be completely automated by using the hot folder functionality of the Prinergy workflow. "Prinergy Publish software increases control over content preparation," explains Stefan Steinle, Prinergy Publish product manager at Creo. "It allows you to streamline and automate page preparation and ensures that the generated files can be printed hassle-free in the production workflow."
