Dallas Offset Installs Rebuilt Muller 335 Stitcher

Press release from the issuing company

Dallas Offset Inc., a 70-employee print shop in Dallas, Texas.  installed a rebuilt Muller Martini 335 saddle stitcher with 6 pockets plus cover feeder.  "This will dramatically increase our production, by as much as 50% on our tabloid products requiring stitching and trimming which is a growing segment of our business mix. It will also allow us to handle a wider variety of products more efficiently," states Steven Kubalik, CEO of Dallas Offset.

The 12,000 c/hr. Muller Martini 335 saddle stitcher is a robustly engineered machine.  A wide choice of certified pre-owned equipment is available at considerable savings through Muller Martini's rebuild program.  Muller pre-owned equipment – which besides saddle stitchers includes perfect binders, press delivery machines and many other technologies – is rebuilt to its original specifications by factory trained experts.  Pre-owned machines are stripped down to their frames and each component is analyzed.  Worn parts are replaced and Muller technicians make certain that the machines adhere to original safety standards.  Rebuilt machines are then set up, tested with products, and readied for demonstration.  In addition to fully rebuilt machines, Muller Martini also offers refurbished equipment which undergoes a detailed all-points analysis during which known wear-and-tear parts and other components are tested.  Parts are then replaced as needed.  Rebuilt machines come with a 6-month warranty and installation is included.  Muller Martini can also provide training.  Refurbished machines have a 3-month warranty.

"We chose the 335 due to its reliability and versatility," continues Mr. Kubalik.  "This equipment will allow us to more efficiently produce a wider variety of products enabling us to expand our client base and continue to expand our business."  Dallas Offset Inc. produces directories, publications, catalogs, newspapers, advertising inserts and several other kinds of products.  The

company's customers include retailers, city governments, colleges, telephone directory companies and healthcare businesses.
