Walter Named VP Finance For Unisource

NORCROSS, GA -- Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America, has named Eric Walter, Vice President of Finance.  He will report to John Sills, Unisource Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
 
In his new role, Walter will have responsibility for Unisource’s controller, shared service, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and risk management functions.  Walter was most recently Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).  He joined Unisource in 2004 as Senior Director of FP&A, and has held a variety of roles in the FP&A group including corporate reporting, planning and field support.
 
Walter earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Furman University, and a master’s of business administration degree from Duke University.  He also holds Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Certified Treasury Professional designations.
