Parajett installs Dynamic Processors from Lasermax

Press release from the issuing company

Ljungby, Sweden -- Parajett AB has become the first print provider in Scandinavia to produce a transpromo application using dynamic perforations with the installation of five 330 Processors from Lasermax Roll Systems at their facility in Landskrona, Sweden. The 330 Processors are operating inline with Xeikon 8000 full color digital printers to produce a customer loyalty application for a leading food retailer in Sweden and Norway.

For this transpromo application, each customer’s monthly statement includes variable information for customized coupons and discounts, and requires both horizontal and vertical perforations to be created dynamically by the 330 Processors. The 330 Processor’s dynamic perforating capability plays an important role in maintaining the best possible appearance of the final transpromo statement. Perforations for coupon tear-outs are created only where needed and additional pages in the statement do not have excessive perforations.

The 330 Processor is one in a series of processors from Lasermax Roll Systems including four standard models. Capabilities of the processor product line include tractor hole punching, file hole punching, fanfold cross perforating, and dynamic cross and vertical perforating. Tractor holes or perforations in fixed intervals are created before the printer. Dynamic perforating for payment slips and coupons is performed after the printer. All models utilize a controlled paper infeed and outfeed section to maintain precise registration of the web.

A representative from Parajett will discuss this solution a two seminars during Print 2009 in Stockholm. Seminars are scheduled February 11th at 15:00 and February 12th at 12:00.
