Michael Lake covers Minnesota and the Dakotas for MAN Roland Inc.

August 14, 2002 -- Michael R. Lake, a 20-year veteran of the graphic arts industry, has joined MAN Roland as a District Sales Manager in Minnesota and North and South Dakota. Previously, Lake served for 16 years with the Gannett Company, Inc. in a variety of executive positions. He was Production Manager of their Sturgis, Michigan Operation, Commercial Manager in Atlanta, and General Manager and Group Vice President of Gannett’s St. Louis Operation. His most recent position was President/General Manager of Gannett Offset-Minneapolis, a commercial printing and direct mail operation. Lake began his career, hands-on, as a press operator, camera operator, film stripper and as a Production Manager. He has been a Regional Sales Executive of graphic arts equipment prior to joining Gannett. Before starting his career in the graphic arts, he was a Branch Manager for Citizens State Bank in Indiana. An Alumni of Indiana University, Lake has served as president of the Eureka Sports Association. The non-profit group organizes soccer, baseball and softball recreational teams for over 600 community youths.
