PRIMAC Unveils Revision 12 of Its Information Management Software

The updated platform is currently available for purchase and will be demonstrated at the upcoming LabelExpo show in September of this year. PRIMAC’s turnkey software package has been revised to incorporate many of the features requested by its users and also to address key areas that other information management platforms do not. These are just some of the new features in Revision 12: E-MAIL/REPORTS: - All reports may be e-mailed. - Forms may be e-mailed; including Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Statements. - Export of data from reports to other applications has been greatly simplified. FINANCIAL: - Ability to select report/inquiry criteria on more detailed level is provided. - Additional detailed reporting for invoice aging and transaction history. INVENTORY CONTROL: - Inventory transactions can be tracked by fiscal period. - Inventory products can now be transferred between plants and divisions. - Detail Inquiry functionality includes inquiry capability at every level: Product Inquiry, Serial Inquiry, Receipt Inquiry, Shipment History Inquiry and Transaction History Inquiry. "PRIMAC’s Revision 12 incorporates new features that our users requested while still maintaining the unique flexibility for which PRIMAC is known and recognized," commented Ziad Yamout, COO. "In particular, the inventory control features of Revision 12 are very attractive to multi-plant customers who need clean, fast, and simple ways to move inventory items between plants and with system capability to accurately track such movement and adjust inventories accordingly. Additionally, Revision 12 allows users to post inventory transactions to the current fiscal period, and into two forward fiscal periods. This ensures that all financial transactions are posted to the correct period, and all work related to the printing business can continue without interruption or hold-up during month-end and year-end financial closing," continues Ziad.
