Printcafe Launches PrinterSite Internal Web Solution

New Web-Based Solution From Printcafe Helps Printers' Sales People Spend More Time Selling and Caring For Customers PITTSBURGH, Aug. 4 -- Printcafe Software, Inc., the operating system for print, announced today the launch of its new PrinterSite Internal web solution. PrinterSite Internal automates the internal, administrative functions of the sales process, allowing the sales person to spend more time selling and less time completing paperwork. As a result, PrinterSite Internal can help to increase communication accuracy and accelerate response time. PrinterSite Internal was unveiled at the recent Printcafe users' conference in Las Vegas. This simple, easy-to-use software solution captures the job specifications in an electronic form that can be customized by the printing company. The data then flows automatically into the estimating module of the print management system. This solution allows the estimator to receive the necessary information the first time, eliminating the need to re-enter data. "As we look towards computer integrated manufacturing in the print industry, we see that the success of production is directly related to the quality of information received from sales and planning," said Bob Bierwagen, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Printcafe.  "PrinterSite Internal provides the data framework for better, more consistent results; correct information the first time can mean quicker, more accurate estimates and greater potential for on-time delivery." "Our field sales representatives can fill out customized RFQ forms and submit them directly into our Printcafe Hagen system. PrinterSite Internal is one of three PrinterSite solutions from Printcafe. Also available are PrinterSite Customer Connect, a Web front-end for Printers and PrinterSite Enterprise, for connectivity to large corporate print buyers using Printcafe's EnterpriseSite. These integrated add-on modules build upon the functionality of Printcafe's PSI, Logic and Hagen print management system platforms. Other add-on modules include Printcafe PrintFlow, for dynamic scheduling, and Printcafe Auto-Count, for shop floor data collection.
