DALiM Software Adds Remote Management Options to Swing

Press release from the issuing company

Kehl, GERMANY - July 22, 2002 - DALiM Software GmbH, the leading supplier of innovative prepress workflow and production solutions, has now made their recently-introduced web-based applications TWiST WEBLiNK and TWiST DiALOGUE available as optional modules for DALiM SWiNG ˆ its pre-configured and customizable automated suite of workflow modules. This extends the considerable flexibility of remote management benefits to all customers. Launched at IPEX in April, TWiST WEBLiNK and TWiST DiALOGUE generated tremendous interest due to the modules‚ ability to add flexible remote viewing, digital proofing and management tools to its high-end, fully functional, DALiM TWiST workflow. Now these capabilities are available for the entire range of Linux-based predefined and 'off-the-shelf' workflow DALiM SWiNG modules, which include: SWiNG Normalizer, SWiNG Trap, SWiNG CT/LW2PDF and SWiNG Proofer. TWiST WEBLiNK provides users with full access to DALiM SWiNG via a standard web browser giving users the freedom to manage the specific production workflows from any location. Utilizing XML communication, TWiST WEBLiNK allows users to manage their particular DALiM SWiNG function including: uploading files, start/stop workflows, advanced error/preflight checking with refining, change priorities, ability to change files or amend PostScript Printer Description files on the fly, and (with the addition of TWIST DiALOGUE) view high-res files in real-time.
