Moore Announces Senior Management Funded Scholarship Program

TORONTO and STAMFORD, Conn.--March 21, 2002--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced the establishment of a scholarship program for the children of Moore employees that will be entirely funded by the senior management team. Robert G. Burton, President & CEO stated: "I am pleased to announce that my senior management team and I are establishing and personally funding a scholarship program for the children of the employees of the Moore. We plan to initially offer 100 scholarship grants each year that will reward college bound students with grants averaging approximately $1,500.'' Burton added: "We will be looking at a range of important accomplishments such as educational success, athletic team and club participation, community service, managing school with a learning disability, overcoming obstacles as well as other related criteria.'' Burton concluded: "My team and I are strong believers in developing programs that benefit children and children's education. I am initially donating $100,000 to begin the funding of this program and I plan on making regular contributions of this size during my tenure with the company. Giving back to our communities is important. Supporting our future leaders is key to a better future for all of us. We believe that providing opportunities for the children of all of our employees benefits not only these deserving students but that all of us benefit by their growth and their future contributions to society."
