Moore Creates Corporate Governance Committee

TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.--March 15, 2002--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced the creation of a Nominating and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors for the corporation. The Nominating and Governance Committee will be responsible for among other things, fostering and enhancing the governance structure for the corporation. Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer stated: "Since I joined the corporation in December 2000, we have made significant and positive changes. I view the formation of this committee as another positive change. During this period of time, the composition of the Board of Directors has also changed significantly. As we continue our focus on ensuring that the corporation is a leader in our industry and that the make-up of our corporation, including the board, reflects best practices, I believe that the formation of a governance committee is another important and proactive move. The committee and I will work together to enhance Board effectiveness.
