Press release from the issuing company

March 13, 2002 -- Print providers in Brazil, the Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Poland will now have access to the high performance and outstanding image quality of the Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System. These additional markets expand the worldwide presence of the Digimaster product family, joining an array of global market placements, including Australia, Canada, central Europe, Iceland, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the U.S. , and Canada. “In expanding into these markets, we are not simply placing Digimaster in more countries,” said Wolfgang Pfizenmaier, president of Heidelberg’s Digital Solution Center. “Heidelberg is advancing world-class technologies into markets that are ready to harness the productivity of high-volume digital printing, particularly the Asian market. These solutions will enable print providers around the world to become more versatile in serving their customers, opening up new avenues of profitability and competitive advantage.” "Printing businesses all over the world are rapidly entering the Information Age and are eager to tap into the power of electronic content distribution," added Pfizenmaier. "The networking capabilities of these digital printing systems provide a whole new dimension of control over print media content, as well as lucrative on-demand and variable-data printing capabilities." About the Digimaster 9110 system The Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System employs high-definition imaging technology to deliver documents with fine text and rich graphics at 600 x 600 dots per inch, at a rate of 110 images per minute.
