EFI PrintMe Networks Welcomes Canon, IBM, IKON, Pitman, Mimeo & More

New York, NY - March 12, 2002 - Electronics For Imaging today announced that 14 more companies intend to deploy PrintMe Networks technology in existing and future products, services and locations. Canon, IBM, OfficeMax, Palm Inc., IKON Office Systems, Minolta, Minolta-QMS, Sharp, Toshiba, DataViz, GENICOM, Mimeo, Pitman, Singlecast, and XANTE are partnering with EFI in expanding the availability of this breakthrough Internet printing technology. These new strategic partners join Adobe Systems Incorporated, Xerox, Sir Speedy, Yahoo!, STSN and others in a broad coalition of companies that support the Internet printing standard being officially launched today at select locations in major cities nationwide. PrintMe Networks is the first comprehensive Internet printing standard that enables fast, easy printing to any printer on the PrintMe network from a variety of wireless devices without requiring any print drivers, cables or complex set up. Mobile professionals can print and fax documents from their personal computers, PDAs, two-way pagers, and even cell phones by simply "dialing" into any printer on the expanding PrintMe network or to most fax machines in major countries worldwide.
