Gary Tidd, Proven Sales Exec Joins ImageX Senior Management Team

KIRKLAND, Wash., Feb. 25 -- ImageX today announced that Gary Tidd has joined its executive management team as vice president of sales and business development. Tidd's background includes more than 20 years in sales and sales management positions, including five years with Oracle Corporation. With his solid experience in the sales and business development sides of the software industry, Tidd will strategically direct all revenue generating activities, and will be responsible for accelerating the ImageX sales model to ensure its effectiveness. While at Oracle, Tidd was responsible for increasing revenue 70% in fiscal year 1999. Additionally, he was responsible for a complete turn-around of the Northwest region's sales operations in a six month timeframe. In his most recent role as executive vice president of sales and business development at CAPTURA Software, Tidd successfully grew revenues by more than 360% from fiscal year 1999 to fiscal year 2000. Tidd also successfully completed a turn-around of the sales organization in 60 days and secured 30 new customers within his first 12 months. "Gary has a proven track-record of significantly increasing revenues at organizations he has joined,'' said Tim Dowling, chief operating officer, ImageX.
