Keith Russell to Speak At 11th Annual EC Day ATLANTA, February 12, 2002 - ForestExpress, the transaction processing network for the forest products industry, today announced that Chief Executive Officer, Keith Russell, will be leading a session at the 11th Annual EC Day Conference. Presented by the Atlanta Electronic Commerce Forum (AECF) and the Georgia Electronic Commerce Association (GECA), this premier event for the Atlanta technology community will be held at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia on Tuesday, February 12, 2002. Russell will discuss the real promise of e-commerce and the hurdles that are blocking progress in realizing that promise. "We have all learned many lessons from the highs and lows of e-Commerce during the last four years. The survivors understand the need for industry focus, leveraging a shared infrastructure and delivering both short-term and long-term value," said Russell. "At ForestExpress we are providing the e-business infrastructure necessary for the forest products industry to initially get connected, and ultimately improve supply chain efficiency. I look forward to sharing our knowledge with EC Day attendees, so they can more effectively engage in e-commerce." Russell will also provide insight into the status of e-Commerce adoption for an array of industries and provide advice on overcoming the hurdles for adoption.
