KPG: Former Imation Executive Gerard Cardinet , Assumes Management Position

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA – Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) today announced the appointment of Gerard Cardinet as Vice President and General Manager, Latin America Region (LAR). Cardinet assumes overall management responsibility for KPG’s LAR organization, reporting directly to Andrew Copley, President, Americas. "Gerard brings a unique combination of skills and experience to our customers in LAR," Copley said. "During three decades of work in the graphic arts throughout the world, he’s amassed a very deep knowledge of printing, proofing and the newest technologies in workflow and color management. I’m confident that Gerard is the right person to ensure our LAR customers experience all of the benefits of KPG’s expanded product portfolio." Most recently, Cardinet served as Vice President Worldwide of Sales for Imation’s Color Technologies business, based in Minnesota. He first joined 3M in 1972 as a sales representatives in Paris, France and has held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and sales, including: Managing Director – Europe, Middle East, Africa - Printing and Proofing for Imation; and European Business Manager – Printing and Publishing for 3M. Cardinet has a business degree in marketing from the European Business School.
