Xitron Announces On-line Software Demonstrations and Support Services

Powered on the Internet by WebEx Web Conferenceing Technology Ann Arbor, Michigan February, 15, 2002 --Xitron, an independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, announces on-line software demonstrations and support services via web conferencing technology available through WebEx. Xitron is using this technology to conduct live software product demonstrations on-line. Dealers or end-users contact Xitron to schedule a meeting, then simply logon to the Xitron web conference with a specified password. Conference participants can view a live product demonstration via their internet browser. Xitron also plans to provide customer support via the internet web conference technology. Support callers can share their desktop or application with the Xitron help desk allowing Xitron to see the customer‚s system and more effectively solve the problem. Xitron will also offer installation, upgrade and training services via the internet. “Now Xitron can react quickly to prospective customers who want a live product demonstration. Instead of having to schedule a site visit, we can simply power up a web conference and away we go, “ explains R. Patrick French, VP of Sales and Marketing for Xitron. “In addition there are numerous support services we can provide such as live on-line support, installations and training using web conferencing. Providing these service will help us support our customers and dealers more effectively.”
