NAPL Launches New Member Advantage Center

Press release from the issuing company

PARAMUS, NJ, February 6, 2002 – The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) announces the establishment of the NAPL Member Advantage Center (MAC), a one-call source for fast information on everything from new business solutions to upcoming NAPL seminars and publications. The Center can be reached by dialing NAPL’s 800 number (1-800-642-6275) during regular business hours. "MAC makes communicating with NAPL more efficient than ever by giving printing companies a single point of contact," says I. Gregg Van Wert, NAPL’s President. "It's the logical next step in our ongoing commitment to provide members with both superior service and the leading-edge information that’s critical to running a successful business." The new Member Advantage Center includes NAPL's Information Central service and offers callers immediate response for all business-related questions, along with prompt referrals to relevant industry experts as needed. The Center's trained Member Advantage Specialists also assist callers with registration for NAPL programs, seminars and conferences, and recommend and fulfill orders for NAPL's growing roster of educational products (including books, magazines, economic reports, CDs and videos). "The Member Advantage Center is a centralized communications and service center that provides the latest information on a wide range of topics," says Mr. Van Wert. "Ultimately, MAC will serve as a nucleus for all communications between NAPL employees, members and industry experts, and enhance our ongoing role as a leading provider of strategic, industry-related services." NAPL’s Member Advantage Center is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, telephone 1-800-642-6875. For more information about the benefits of NAPL membership, call 201-634-9600 or visit the NAPL website at www.napl.org. About NAPL Chartered in 1933, NAPL is a not-for-profit trade association representing the $88 billion commercial printing industry. NAPL’s mission is to "Enable the printing community to profit from change," through a full range of management and educational services to its membership. In addition to on-site training at its Center for Professional Development in Paramus, New Jersey, and Management Institute (MI) courses held at Northwestern University, NAPL offers consulting services as well as an annual Top Management Conference (TMC) recognized as a leading source of strategic ideas. The organization’s Printing Economics Research Center (PERC) produces both the Economic Edge newsletter and the Leading Indicators Service, a source of late-breaking data on trends within the graphic arts industry, and its Publications Department develops and distributes a variety of other publications, guides and special reports, including Printing Manager magazine. NAPL is also one-third owner of the Graphic Arts Show Company, which owns such major industry events as GRAPH EXPO and PRINT.
