KIRKLAND, Wash., Feb. 5-- ImageX announced it has received an additional Notice of Allowance covering online proofing of print-ready files from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Based on this notice, a patent is expected to be issued soon. The patent notification covers the components necessary to convert a graphic image file from PostScript to Bitmap format. This ability allows users without access to a PDF viewer to see a graphic proof of their orders online before releasing for production.
