Budco Ranks Among Largest Area Digital Print Providers: Beefs Up with Xerox

Press release from the issuing company

DETROIT, Feb. 5 - Budco, the marketing services firm, has expanded its digital printing capabilities, making it one of the largest providers of digital printing services in southeastern Michigan. Included in the most recent acquisitions are three Xerox 6180 printing systems and one Xerox DocuColor 2060 Color Printer. Like all the equipment in Budco's Digital Print Center, these new printers are linked with Budco's internal communication network. The key is Budco's Information Technologies staff that, through custom applications development, drives the variability in both text and images. Budco works with corporate clients to help them build relationships with their customers. The company develops and executes Dialogue Business Solutions -- marketing initiatives intended to build or enhance communication. Budco's enhanced digital printing capabilities further its ability to assist its corporate clients in their efforts to build dialogue with their customers. Budco has the flexibility to provide clients with either black & white or full-color digital printing. The benefit of this type of print solution is that printed output is completely personalized and can speak directly to an intended recipient and his or her interests. "We're especially enthusiastic about our new DocuColor 2060 Printer,'' said John Galleher, vice president of Research & Development. "The quality of printed output is comparable to offset printing allowing us to create personalized communications that are a lot more impactful and professional than they had been in the past.'' "Budco is one of our largest installations in the state of Michigan and definitely in the metropolitan Detroit area. More and more corporations are utilizing digital technology for their printing needs and Budco has the resources and expertise to fulfill this demand,'' said Xerox Production Solutions Executive, Ron Konicov. Budco, with nearly $100 million in revenue, helps organizations build customer relationships through dialogue business solutions. Founded in 1982, the company's vision is to be recognized as the leader in providing dialogue business solutions, measured by customer loyalty, the ability to attract outstanding, life-long employees, community recognition and financial growth. Budco's clients include Allied Domecq, American Honda Finance, Ameritech, DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Guardian Industries, Health Alliance Plan (HAP), HoneyBaked Ham, Johnson & Johnson, Volkswagen/Audi, and Walt Disney Co.
