DES PLAINES, Ill., Feb. 5- Schawk, a leading provider of digital imaging prepress solutions to the consumer products packaging and advertising and promotions markets announced that it has appointed Jim Hanekamp to a newly created post: Vice President and Chief Information Officer. The new post was created in response to the Company's growth and new strategic direction. Hanekamp reports directly to Schawk Senior Vice President and CFO, James Patterson, and will be a key member of Schawk's senior management team.He will be based at Schawk's global headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois. As CIO, Hanekamp will be responsible for the strategic direction of the information technology and information systems functions for the corporation and will act as a liaison to the operating units in the field.
