Xerox Names Richard F. Cerrone Corporate Officer

STAMFORD, Conn.---Feb. 5, 2002--Xerox Corporation's Board of Directors elected yesterday Richard F. Cerrone, senior vice president, North American Agent Channel Operations, to the additional post of corporate vice president. Cerrone, 52, joined Xerox in 1972 as a sales representative and has since held a variety of senior management positions including national sales operations manager, vice president of field operations, and vice president of Xerox's North American supplies business. As head of Xerox's North American agent operations, Cerrone manages Xerox's relationship with its 800 independent agencies that sell and market Xerox digital printers/copiers and multifunctional devices to small and medium size businesses. Cerrone holds a bachelor's degree in business from Niagara University and a master's degree in communications from Fairfield University.
