Ultimate introduces Impostrip Solo in Spanish at Graphics of the Americas

Press release from the issuing company

Montreal, Canada, January 31st, 2002 – At Graphics of The Americas in Miami, Ultimate Technographics, the renowned inventor of digital imposition, launches Impostrip Solo Spanish, which includes a single client and server, for an industry-leading price of $2995. "With an increasing availability of low cost platesetting equipment, smaller printers are looking for digital workflows," explains Joanne David, Vice-President of Marketing at Ultimate, "they need automation and speed, so we have introduced a low cost client-server imposition solution for the printer who has one prepress operator. Impostrip Solo’s unique Hot Folder automation combined with its complete PDF native input/output workflow makes it interesting to small and medium printers. With almost no learning curve and low maintenance, it becomes profitable for dealers to promote digital PDF workflow to their customers. This is now available in Spanish for the Mexican and Latin America markets." Impostrip Solo has all the imposition functionality of Impostip 6.5 and has the advantage of being the fastest imposition software and the easiest user interface in the market. Especially when that single operator puts the Signature Server on another computer, which can be a Mac or PC Windows computer. Hot Folder Driven Impostrip is the only imposition software to be hot folder driven for complete automation of repetitive imposition jobs. The user can queue the job to the hot folder and let the Signature Server do the job, in background on a single computer or over the network in a Server environment.
