Along with the capability of processing up to 7,200 pieces of mail per hour, this revolutionary machine sorts and labels a variety of mail--from small postcards to packages weighing up to six pounds to an intermixed batch of cards, flats, and envelopes. In combination with automatic feeding & reading, it is equipped for weighing and labeling. The exclusive packaging of mail feeding, reading, weighing and labeling makes the MPS 7 unit an intelligent choice for complete and wide-range mail processing. The MPS 7 mail sorter can be configured for outgoing, incoming, or custom server-based applications. In addition to its high-tech labeler and scale, this unique machine features a Directory Retrieval System (DRS), a POSTNET print module, suction-cup shuttle feeders, automatic feeder, rollers, & imaging modules. For processing each batch of mail, the unit's host computer contains all of the labeling data and programmed functionality that ensures smooth operation. An array of advanced software is standard and adds to the capabilities of this state-of-the-art machine.
