Americana Publishing To Purchase Universal Printing

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Jan. 22 - Americana Publishing says that a Letter of Intent to purchase has been signed with Universal Printing, a multi-media printing operation producing over $7,000,000 in annual sales. The purchase of Universal Printing, Inc. by Americana Publishing, Inc. is proposed to be a stock for stock transaction. George Lovato, Jr., Chairman of Americana Publishing, Inc. said, "We are on a pace to produce $5-7 million in sales for 2002. The acquisition of Universal Printing, Inc. is not only a real boost to the profit and loss statement and balance sheet performance but a true benefit for Americana Publishing, Inc. with the addition of Universal Printing, Inc.'s management.'' The specific terms of the transaction have not yet been announced but are expected soon.
