Clay Oliff Joins MAN Roland as an Eastern Sales Representative

Press release from the issuing company

January 22, 2002 - Clay Oliff has joined MAN Roland’s Eastern Region Sales and Service organization, as a sales representative responsible for a territory that covers West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Bringing over two decades of experience in the graphic arts to his new position, Oliff reports to Michael Mugavero, the company’s General Manager for sales and service in the east, based in Middlesex, New Jersey. Before joining MAN Roland, Oliff worked for the last three years as a sales and service consultant for a major roller manufacturer. Previously, he ran his own training firm, serving printers and equipment dealers in the east. His expertise includes the development and presentation of pressroom courses, sales seminars and efficiency studies. Oliff began his printing career in high school, working as a teacher’s aid during class and in commercial shops in his spare time. A stint in the Army provided him with in-depth training and experience as a pressman and as a service technician. After earning an honorable discharge, Oliff used the acquired knowledge to land progressively more responsible jobs in the Northern Virginia/DC area, working as a pressman, pressroom foreman and director of printing operations for several commercial printers. During that period he worked with five major publishers on projects that involved the largest mapping organization in the world.
